The bedroom door is not only a tool for dividing space, but also carries multiple functions such as sound insulation, thermal insulation, safety, and aesthetics.

There are various reasons for the deformation of wooden doors, and we can take different corrective measures according to different situations. If the deformation is caused by changes in weather and humidity, it usually improves naturally within 2-3 months as the weather changes, and no special treatment is needed. However, if the deformation is due to quality issues, simple correction may not be effective and the entire door may need to be replaced. For wooden doors that deform due to moisture, we can dry them with a hair dryer or open windows for ventilation to keep them dry and solve the problem of deformation.
 

When the wooden door lock groove is damaged, the following steps can be followed for repair. Firstly, remove any loose wood debris around the lock slot and keep the work area clean. Next, prepare structural adhesive or white emulsion adhesive to fill the gap between the lock groove and the surrounding wood. Use self tapping screws to secure the filling material, making sure to wait until the glue has completely solidified before proceeding with this step. Finally, wait for one day for the repair material to fully dry before using the wooden door lock groove normally.
 

When the wooden door hinges are damaged, you can try the following repair steps. Firstly, use a hex wrench to loosen the screws of the hinge and remove all damaged hinges. Next, prepare a new hinge and determine its installation location. Since there are already screw holes on the old hinges, we can install them directly along these holes. If there is no screw hole as a reference, we can mark the position of the expansion screw hole with a pen, and then carefully drill the hole, paying attention to the appropriate size of the hole to ensure that the screw can be installed smoothly. Finally, fix the new hinges in place and tighten the screws to complete the repair.

For small areas of paint peeling, you can first use fine sandpaper to polish and remove loose paint layers. Afterwards, apply an appropriate amount of putty for filling, brush with primer, and finally paint the entire wooden door to restore its complete paint surface. For large areas of paint peeling, the original paint layer needs to be completely scraped off and then repainted. If the solid wood door has paint peeling, it is recommended to use a sandpaper to wipe it thoroughly to remove residual paint stains, and then choose a color paint according to the original color of the wooden door for painting to restore its original luster.
 

When a wooden door has a hole, the first step is to find a wooden block of the same size as the hole to fill it. Subsequently, use 502 glue to mix light colored fillers such as wood powder, old powder, or putty powder, layer fill and polish until the surface is restored to a smooth state. This step of filling the bottom layer is crucial. Finally, choose self spray paint that matches the color of the wooden door and spray it evenly a few times to complete the repair.
